Changing the way we talk to ourselves and describe ourselves can make a huge difference in our futures. But in order to make this type of change we also need to de-clutter our space so not only is there room for something better, but we can actually see and maneuver better in our surroundings. My free time lately has been spent cleaning out my emails, deleting myself from email lists, and attempting to organize my electronic "life". Then onto tackle the closets ..... If we are too blinded by all the accumulated junk we don't need, use or want it is hard to make room for more. Ayurveda calls this "crowding out". If you are trying to eat healthier for example, you can begin to crowd out the unhealthy foods by eating wider choices. There cant be room for the junk when we are filled and satisfied with nutritious items. May this months practice be focused on the positive, the abundance we already have in our lives and the knowledge that we are able to set our minds to what we can do. We just have to make the space for it.
